Terms of Service

By ordering a commission from LadyLusan ("the Artist"), you (“the Client”) agree to be legally bound to the following Terms of Service below. If the Client fails to follow the following terms then the commission may be canceled or rejected at any time with or without a refund. Please note that these Terms of Service are subject to change without prior notice.
Current Terms of Service are in effect as of
August 26th 2024

- The Artist may cancel or refuse a commission without explanation (refunds are at the Artist's sole discretion based on commission progress)
- The Client may cancel a commission at any point without explanation (refunds are at the Artist's sole discretion based on commission progress)
- The Client may edit the Client's commissioned piece if desired upon written permission from the Artist
- The Client may use and upload a commissioned piece for non commercial use with credit to the Artist
- The Client may NOT use a commissioned piece commercially without purchased commercial rights (please note that commercial rights do NOT equate to ownership rights, the Client may NOT ever claim a piece as their own work)
- No commissioned work can be used with AI algorithms
- All images will be done digitally
-Unless specified, canvas size will be 2048 x 2048px or 1800 x 1200px. Canvas size does not affect pricing
- All commissions will be sent as a PNG via email unless otherwise agreed upon
-Turnaround time is generally around 1 month. If the Artist does not complete the commission within 1 month of confirmed commission date, the Client will receive an update
-All payments will be received via Paypal invoice
-The Client is not required to pay any Paypal fees
-Invoices must be paid within one business day of invoice date. If the invoice is not paid within this time, the commission may be cancelled
- If the Client is dissatisfied with the commission, the Artist is willing to discuss and make two minor edits (eg. Color adjustments) post production. Any major edits (eg. pose changes, background replacement) will be rejected.
Please make proper edit request(s) in the earlier stages of the commission!
- The Client will not receive a refund if dissatisfied with a completed commission

Commission process outline

- The Client will submit a commission request via the linked form provided by the Artist
-Upon receiving the form, the Artist will contact the Client within 48 hrs to discuss and confirm commission
-If accepted, the Client will receive an invoice via Paypal that must be paid within one business day (or else the commission will be subject to cancellation)
-The Artist will send a sketch for approval (it's at this point that any major edits (eg. pose changes, background changes, color schemes) should be requested)
- Once the Artist has received the Client's approval of the sketch, the commission will be completed and sent with an approximate turnaround time of 1 month
-Post completion, the Client may suggest minor edits (eg. color adjustments)
